Cortney will be taking the role as the Residential Property Manager at BEI Properties and she will also be the newest addition to Miscella Real Estate’s team of professional and experienced realtors.
After working for Baird and Warner, Cortney was looking for a more personalized real estate firm that is recognized for its impact within the community. BEI Properties and Miscella Real Estate were the perfect fit.

Cortney’s experience and passion for property management also coincides perfectly in the role of Residential Property Manager at BEI Properties. It will be a great way to assist current and potential tenants while managing the day-to-day operations of the residential units.
Having first moved from Southern Illinois to Chicago nearly 20 years ago, and then making the common move from Chicago to the suburbs several years ago, Cortney knows what it is like to start over in a new community. She understands that clients may be searching for not only a place to call a home, but also a community that aligns with their lifestyle. She enjoys all that the Fox Valley has to offer from shopping at charming local boutiques and dinner out with friends to golf and bike rides with her daughter to the ice cream shop.
Cortney and her family now happily reside in Geneva where she is actively involved in the community, particularly the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) at her child’s school. Cortney was drawn to Miscella Real Estate’s involvement in the community as she also has been active for many years. In addition to the PTO, Cortney has been involved in CASA Kane County on their Auction Committee for the Annual Gala. She also has volunteered at Geneva Festivals including Swedish Days and Geneva Festival of the Vine!
Cortney’s approach is simple: listen to what the client wants and needs, educate the client on available properties, today’s market conditions, and assist them along the way to find the perfect space for their needs. Her passion is helping potential residents find a place to call home in their ideal community and helping sellers prepare their home and market it in a way that provides top dollar in today’s market. Cortney’s success is driven by her remarkable work ethic, managing experience, exceptional attention to detail, and her personal approach to establishing a relationship with the tenants.
